Now on to Healthcare

Can someone please explain these "fix healthcare now" commercials? sorry but I am not seeing how fixing healthcare is going to help our job situation, or bring new jobs, or have shuttered buisnesses suddenly reopen as these commercials are implying. Are people really that gullible, that they would believe that passing a healthcare plan that already exist, it's called SCHIP, and creating a brand new one that we can pour more and more money into it.

The cost of doing nothing is just fine especially since we are already footing the bill for a BOGUS stimulus bill. Less than 5% of that stimulus money has been spent but he seems to think he has "saved" some jobs, I am still trying to figure out how they figure out what a "saved" job is. How do you get to that number? is every job that is not lost a saved job? If so that a line of BS but then again are we really suprised we re getting a line of BS from the WH.

BO is throwing out all these huge proposals and spending after spending after spending bill thinking that the money is just going to fall out of the damn sky. All the while millions of people have lost their jobs and hundreds of thousands of more lost jobs are on the way, yet here we are just handing out money to stuff that is a pie in the sky dream.
How about the 900 million he is giving to the Palestinians? Why not put that money back into OUR people? We are not responsible for the well being of the Palestinians, maybe this president thinks he does but I don't. The Israeli's send them food aid for heavens sake even though they lob rockets across the border daily. Now that is forgiveness. Billions of dollars in reserve for this "insurance plan" but we cut our missle defense, while NK shoots of rockets and tests nukes.

Exactly what kind of drugs did the POTUS do in highschool and did they have some kindof lasting effect? like BRAINDAMAGE?

Where are we going?

I wonder today as I watch my children play in the floor, what kind of world are they going to grow up in? It is obviously not the same one that I remember as a young child. When I was growing up things always seemed simpler mayber they were or maybe we just cannot compehend anything but the simplist of things until we mature a bit.
One thing I have never seen in my lifetime (short by some accounts, long by my kids accounts lol) have I ever seen so many small buisnesses go OUt of buisness, not have I seen my govt. become involved in any private buisness, ever. When did it become ok for our tax money to get used in ways that we do not agree to? I thought this is why we elected a Senate and a House of Representatives, but it seems that the ones there have begun to treat their jobs as something they are entitled to. Arlen Spector is a perfect example of one that "refuses to let his future be determined by voters" those pesky voters, how dare they end his reign! they are just the ones who have put him there and allowed him to live a life of opulence while others live a life of hardship.
Do not misread me, I am all for pulling yourself up and making somehting of yourself. That is the great thing about our country youi can do that! you cannot accomplish such things in other countries. We are the luckiest on the planet, we don't have to wait for rations offood, or healthcare, or any other nessessity, all we have to do is jaunt down to the Wal mart or target or any other market. We forget that women and men in other countries cannot do that, they live under oppressive laws and tyrannical governments. People that think it is so bad here never seem to get that passport and move on too their eutopia, gee I wonder why!

I hope that my children will inheret a country that more closely resembles the one I remember. One that allows the states to make the important decisions involving their people. One where the federal govt. understands that it's role is not to tellus or gently persuade us to live a certain way or to buy stupid lightbulbs that are an enviromental hazard in themselves (sorry little rant there) or for that matter cars that when they break down or are totalled in a wreck become a huge enviromental hazard because of their batteries. Has Obama thought the ramification of his new green engergy through? NO he toldpeople what they wanted to hear and unfortunately they listened, or as my cousin says I voted for him b/c he was going to win n e ways. Way to go cuz u just wasted the most powerful thing you have, dimwit!

Small buisnesses are dissappearing, the govt, is getting into lives more than ever now giving us money to buy a new car, u cant drive that car that only get 23 miles to the gallon! shame on you.
Does anyone realize that the emmissions of a typical car has improved over 95% since the 70's? of course not, that dosen't jive man!

So in my rambling little way I encourage all of you to find your own facts, depend on no one to tell you what it is because all you will get is their version of it. Don't be a lemming, walk your own path and live for a higher power one that will always lead you home!

Team Sarah has become an exclusive club it seems, even though i am a conservative mother and have been on there for several months blogging, now that I do not want to supply my personal phone # to the admins and the moderators. I do not know wht that is all about but because I brought my beef up front, due to a safety issue I do not want to issue my full name and phone # to anyone.

So I am being Censored. I guess it really goes to show that when you have a conservative opinion you get censored and when you have a liberal opinion no one says a word.

The boring News Conference.

What exactly did President Obama hope to accomplish with his prime time news conference? Besides showing that he has the power to take American Idol off the air. he never gave one good answer to any question. He still relied on a jumbo T.V. to give his 5 minute beginning speech.

You have to be kidding me. hhe cannot give a 5 minute speech without reading it ffrom a teleprompter. That is pathetic. We have a commander in chief that cannot give a 5 minute speech without reading it. What does that say about the way he thinks? He is afraid of saying his thoughts? Is he scared of how he might come off if he goes off script? Or maybe it is the fact that when he is not reading something he cannot give a coherent answer. It is a conglomeration of uhh, and ummm and aahhh m uhhhnm,,. and you might get a roundabout can't pin it on me attitude.

Just as Timothy Geithner cannot find a spot in the constitution that would even give him the slightest right to go into PRIVATE COMPANIES and check thheir books anytime they want and suggest how they do things better.

THE LAST TIME I CHECKED WE LIVED IN A FREE SOCIETY THAT SCREAMS CAPITALISM.
What does this scream, communism, socialism, take your pick.. What the hell is going on and why is no one paying attention. Do you realize our children are now on the hook for bailing out companies that are still failing. We have given more money to these companies than they are even worth. How do you justify this?

This is his doing the day and time he signed that 787 stimulus bill in front of high school kids., In case you were wondering why he would pick such an audience for that, think about it logically, who is going to be voting in the next 4 years? Those kids and what do you think they will remember as they go to vote for their first time. Oh, thats the guy that came to my high school.

This man is manipulating our country and noone is paying attention. We have the equivalent of 6 people running our country? No one will take any of the posts. They keep resigning because of the "scrutiny" in other words they have things they want to keep hidden. Makes you wonder when most of them are Clinton alumnis. Scary.

Wake up people. We are looking at the seed of socialism. he is making the government is the savior for everyone, sorry i'd ratherr depend on myself to do that, they suck at everything else why would I want them anywhere near any part of my life?

The only people who want the govt. to fix thier problems who sit on thier buts and complain I can't do this I can't do that cuz I have kids to take care of and I cant work and go to school. I have seen MANY women young and old that have pulled themselves out of poverty with more than one child to get degrees and have prosperous degrees and move out of poverty, the trick is MOTIVATION. If we are getting a check to sit on our butts at home what motivation do we have to work.

I believe his personality comes from the telepromter, he shows what happens when you turn it off on Leno. What president with any respect goes on a late night talk show? ughhhhhh,..Just wanted to post this, I wrote it in response to the comparison of O and Sarah and of course just as always she outshines him by a mile. Maybe the press and MSM realize that she shine so much brighter than their highly polished piece of work. She is a diamond in the rough which are always the most rare and most important.The joke that Obama told on the Special Olympics iss just flat disgusting, and showed his true personality and tolerance for those not like him but unfortunatly there will always be those that follow cause they don't know how or are incapable of leading or thinking for themselves. and those that forge the road.Sarah forged a road for us all.

I am uncomfortable with a president that believes he should iinclude in his EMERGENCY spending bill a BLUEPRINT for our new future in America, Gee i thought we had a blueprint, though you might not know it if you looked in a classroom. It is the Constitution of the United States that has held for more than 200 years and dosen’t need his revision. Although apparently he believes that it does. I only hope that some will come to see what overexposure does. It ingraines you with that person makes you look at him and listen to his speeches every day on t.v., internet, and I am sure somewhere on the radio. This is called PROPAGANDA. Learned that in my history courses at the local college, I didn’t have to go to harvard to get that one.

The only difference between Barrak Obama and Hugo Chavez is that one, Obama cannot speak to the public without a teleprompter, he showed that with his nice little stint on the tonight show, does he feel llike a star now? Would he please quite worrying about his basketball brackets, we have an ECONOMIC CRISIS,that seems to be working itself out withough stimulus number 2 or the rest of porkulus. The massive stimulus plan that he signed into law, the bulk of the money will not even be spent by the years end. So explain to me again how it is helping the market to climb back up, hnmmnmmmmm he dogs the market and our country it goes down, he gets up and finally says something positive so you know other countries will feel comfortable as well as our own people investing once again. The stock market is NOT a poll as the president suggest but PEOPLE MONEY, THEIR RETIREMENT, OF course he dosen’t care about that he just got the plush version of employment benefits with the best retirement in the world.

If he is so concerned with healthcare and letting everyone have it, give up what you pay for congress make them pay for part the same way every other american has to, quite giving them a golden parachute while thowing our veterans, the ones who serve to protect our country who give up life limb and sometimes mind to do so, out to the curb and try to make them pay for their own. Didn’t work though did it Mr. Obama.

I am sick of watching my country morph into something I don’t even recognize. And I am not that old. Unfortunately my genereation and very few before it(former hippies) seem to even care what is going on, or even get it, they just think o.k. everything will be fine, I’ll vote for this one, or the one that looks best like someone I know gessh. You would think that women hadn’t suffered for years without the right to vote, and this is how she treats it. Like a Game. This is not a game it is our children, and after last night crack who would you leave your children in the care of? The Obamas? (dont remember the kennedy mother in law or jackie mom moving in to take care of those kids huh? or the Palins? I know what my answer is. Palin.This is why the left has to try and villify her because she is a huge threat to them, and they know it.

The important thing is to keep the grassroots movin till the next election then kick into high gear and counterpoint every lie or bias we see. That is what the public is supposed to do, keep OUR GOVERMENT, THAT WE THE PEOPLE ASSEMBLED in line and doing what they are supposed to both morally and judiciously.Anyone catch the appeal to the Iranians with no American flags in the background orr even in the Oval Office boy that showing who you work for. And he got just what the public and so many other have predicted, a reception from the Iranian govt. that makes it look like they are laughing him out of the country, they say he is talk, he needs to stop supporting Israel or nothing will work, boy Obama it sounds like you just need to keep talking, sounds like its really working, as they push ahead to build a bomb to reach Israel. Bush tried to protect Israel with a missle defense system but Obama quickly put a squash on that, so with other world leaders, what has he shown of himself?

Nothing, empty words and rheoric, they know now that he can be pushed around and made to do things by the polls. Not a good thing for your enemy to know when they vow to kill you froom the inside out. But I guess he forgot the declared war and not us. We didn’t go over and fly their commercial planes full of CIVILIANS into their highrises, we didn’t begin this war but with the RIGHT president and the RIGHT congress we could have won years ago, by the way have you all heard any good news out of Iraq? Like We Won? Less people are being killed and terrorized than before we came there. I would call that a success, just as I would call a photo of Iraqi GIRLS in uniform going to school. Something that up until now they had never been able to do. That shows progress, but the MSM won’t show you that.

Bookstore Blunder, indoctorination?

Yesterday while shopping in the bookstore with one of my children for a certain inspirational book, and when we walked in of course we were under deluge of the books on Obama, which I totally expected. What I did not expect was to find a book on this and ONLY THIS president in the young eaders section, next to the toddler section. Why only him, are there not other great president that a young reader should know about? Washington, Lincholn, are some that come to mind considering the one gave us the liberty we sought and the other gave african americans the liberty they sought. But no books on them ladies and gentleman.


This is to me disgusting and indoctorinating, if a teenager chooses it fine, but they need alternative, they should not go into a bookstore for possible research and this be the ONLY book they find in their section about a president and then books in the adult section that are nothing but critical of the previous president. This is propaganda as well as indoctorination.


To make a long story short we left after getting what I needed, I wish I could have gotten it elsewhere and had I known there was a locally owned christian bookstore down the road TRUST ME I would have went there.
In case you were wondering the bookstore was Barnes and Noble booksellers.

Victory

After much outcry from veterans groups and veterans themselves. The proposal to save a paltry 541 million on the backs of our veterans with service realted injuries. compared to the 900 million that we are sending to the gaza strip so they can bomb Israel some more and he wanted to save this money from our veterans care I guess to pass it on to terrorist, let us not forget that HAMAS is the ruling party in the GAZA STRIP. Obama representatives also had talks with Hamas before he was even elected.

Now we are having this whole AIG distraction, yes distraction. The administration knew about the ammendment it was reworded in a closed door session with only three people one of which Harry Reid the other Nancy Pelosi, and guess who else, Rahm Emmanuel. And of course Dodd cannot come up with the name of the person that came to him and told him his ammendment would be modified.

Of Course Dodd is number 1 on the list of recipients from AIG in campaign donations, followed by President Obama, so what do you think the motivation was for protecting those bonuses.

Sorry if you guys hate the bonuses but it is contractual. The bill passed supports it and if we let the federal govt. waste its time passing a bill to deal with 185 million in bonuses in one company they piled money into, they should have read the bill first, they have no right to gripe now. Unless someone forgets the presidents telepromter.

He is SO dependant on a teleprompter he read the speach of the man before him thanking himself, You don't think maybe when you read something out loud you want to make sure our gettig it right? No he just reads whatever they put in front of him, kind of like he signs whatever they put in front of him.

Give up the telepromter and we will see what kind of orator he is. He does real well with a telepromter take that away and all you get is ah hum uhhnmn, even Bll Clinton could recite his speeces without one, Sarah Palin gave almost her entire Nomination speech without one because it malfunctioned. But he can't do something as small as giving a couple of remarks without his teleprompter. Scary.
